In Manila:
Upon arriving in Manila, there are several ways to get to Baguio City, with a travel time of around 4 hours. Please note that our wedding coincides with a major national holiday, so there will likely be many people traveling to visit their families.
We have chartered a private bus to take us to Baguio City on October 30th at 8 AM. We will meet in the lobby of Uptown Parksuites Tower II in BGC. You are welcome to join us on the bus if you wish. If not, here are some other options for your journey:
How to get to Baguio from NAIA Airport:
Private Van: Ideal for groups of 3 or more, let us know if you would like us to coordinate a private van for your group. This service will take you directly from the airport to Baguio City, providing you with a comfortable and private mode of transportation. This option will cost around 10,000 Pesos or approximately 200 USD.
Public Transportation: If you prefer public transportation, there are bus terminals located not too far from the airport. Here are several ways to get to the bus terminal:
How to get to the Bus Terminals:
Grab: We highly recommend this option! Grab is a ride-sharing app that is safe, reliable, and convenient. This will likely cost you around 500 Pesos or 10 USD.
Yellow Taxi: If you wish to take a cab, please only take a yellow taxi as they are vetted and regulated by authorities. This is the second-best option. Be ready to pay cash in the local denomination as most drivers don't accept credit cards. This will likely cost around 500 Pesos or 10 USD.
Private Chauffeur: We can arrange for a private chauffeur to pick you up at the airport with a sign displaying your name and drop you off at the bus terminal. To avail of this option, please let us know your arrival schedule, including the airline and terminal. Note that since it's a national holiday, it might be difficult to spot your chauffeur, which could create more hassle.
We highly recommend that you book your tickets in advance as it's a busy season due to the national holiday.
Bus Company Recommendations:
Pangasinan Solid North (Terminal: PITX): We highly recommend this option as the bus terminal is passenger-friendly. Although please be mindful that due to the holiday, it's going to be crowded. This option will likely cost you around 1,000 Pesos or 20 USD. Grab a meal or food to-go as this bus is not going to stop until it reaches its final destination. The bus is equipped with a restroom on board.
Victory Liner (Terminal: Pasay): This is also a good option although their bus terminal is not as passenger-friendly as PITX. It's also going to be crowded due to the holiday. Their buses are also equipped with a restroom on board.
Instructions to get to the Bus Terminal:
- **Grab:** Enter your destination as either "PITX" or "Victory Liner Pasay."
- **Taxi:** Simply mention "PITX" or "Victory Liner Pasay" (pronounced as PASS-EYE).
